Deputy Prime Minister M.G. Grigoryan, representatives of the legislative, judicial and executive authorities, socio-political, scientific and cultural circles of the Republic of Armenia, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, compatriots, and the diplomatic corps of friendly states took part in the festive event.
In his welcoming speech, Russian Ambassador S.P. Kopyrkin emphasized the importance of preserving the traditional values and moral guidelines that underlie Russian statehood, touched upon the processes of forming a multipolar order taking place in the world that affect the region, recalled the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War this year and the contribution of the Armenian people to it, highlighted the state and prospects of Russian-Armenian allied relations, as well as the idea of forming a Eurasian system of equal and indivisible security.
